LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Lahore High Court on Saturday allowed Parvez Elahi's wife Qaisra Parvez to contest election from two constituencies, however Moonis Elahi was denied permission to vie for election.

A three-member bench of Lahore High Court led by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi conducted hearing of Qaisra Elahi and Moonis Elahi's appeals against decision of the appellate tribunal.

The LHC declared appellate tribunal's decision null and void and allowed Qaisra Elahi to contest elections from NA-64 and PP-32.

The LHC, however, turned down Moonis Elahi's request to set aside appellate tribunal's decision and allow him to contest polls.
